Last Sunday I finally made it to the Mediterranean! On our trip last year, Sabrina and I came close to the Mediterranean twice, but it was always too cold or rainy to get in. But now I have officially set foot in the sea, and it was very cold! This picture is from the Playa Levante or East beach. There were some cool clouds hanging over the Rock. For a few days this past week, it was so cloudy in Gibraltar that you couldn’t see the top of the Rock from La Línea. The Spanish say that since Gibraltar belongs to the Brits, it has to be cloudy there! Once you cross the border, the sun is shining in Spain, it’s the weirdest thing!
